Hi, I'm Johanna,
I'm a certified Oxygen Advantage® Advanced Breathing Instructor, qualified Usui Reiki practitioner, Associate Member of the International Society of Reiki Professions, and wellness author. I'm passionate about using my skills to help you feel better, breathe better and live better.If you are:

I'm not a doctor. I'll never diagnose or promise to "heal" you. But I can help you rebalance your nervous system with simple interventions that put your body in the best state to heal itself.The breath is very powerful. There's a huge weight of scientific evidence to support the fact that the way you breathe affects every system in your body. Reiki is less well studied. What is reiki?
Reiki is a complementary therapy that is safe, non-intrusive and gentle. It is a kind of energy healing that helps balance and direct your energy to facilitate your healing response. In Japanese, the word reiki means "universal life-force energy".A reiki session can help:
• Relieve stress and anxiety
• Ease muscle tension and pain
• Strengthen your immune system
• Energise and balance your whole body
• Quicken your recovery from injury
• Promote peace of mind
• Support spiritual awareness and personal growthReiki is proven to be effective in reducing pain, anxiety and blood pressure and improving quality of life. While it is not a substitute for medical care, reiki supports the mind, body and spirit with your own healing process.Reiki can be sent across time and space, making distance healing possible. During a distance reiki session, you simply make yourself comfortable in your own space, ready to receive the healing. I connect with your energy, sending the reiki exactly as I would if we were in the same physical location. You may feel sensations including heat, cold, tingling and energy shifts, and you will enjoy a deep sense of relaxation.
HOW I WORK
Your distance reiki session will last for one hour. Once we have booked a time, I will ask you about your health and wellbeing. I then send the healing at the agreed time. After the session, I send some personal feedback by email. You're welcome to share your experience of the session and ask any questions.I recommend booking a block of sessions. While you'll feel the benefit from a single hour, one session can only do so much. If you're unsure how to move forward or have never had reiki before, I'd suggest starting with one session before deciding what's best for you.
What is Breath coaching?
The way you breathe affects every system, organ and cell in your body. And if you want to change the way you feel, mentally and physically, the breath is an incredibly powerful tool. You can use it to change your body's chemistry, to rebalance your nervous system, and to alter your mental state on demand.Breath coaching is a personalised process during which you have the space and time to explore what's going on with your health. I'll assess your breathing and teach you simple scientifically-proven exercises that make a profound difference. The process empowers you to make changes, build healthy habits, and restore functional breathing.After that, the sky is the limit. You can continue the process, using your breath to support optimal performance in any area. By the end of our time together, you will have a practice you can continue to use for the rest of your life.
HOW I WORK
We'll arrange a short Zoom call to go over your concerns, identify your goals and see if we're a good fit. If we decide to go ahead, we'll book our first session. I'll send you a short form to fill out, and then we hit the ground running with a 1:1 hour-long Zoom coaching call. Between our sessions, I'll give you a personalised programme of breathing exercises and show you how to integrate them into your day.

Remember the GDPR? The flurry of emails about data security that hit your inbox in May 2018? Well, since then, you can’t visit a website without dismissing a cookie banner, and I’ve been unable to access some really interesting bits of research because some US sites won’t let me view them from the UK.Irritations aside, GDPR is a good thing. It requires that businesses obtain your explicit consent before they can sign you up to receive marketing communications.GDPR also gives you the right to:- Know how your data is being used.
